This tote is designed from a vintage illustration of sea plankton drawn by Ernst Haeckel. Haeckel, 1834-1919, was a German biologist, naturalist, philosopher, physician, professor, and artist who discovered, described and named thousands of new species, mapped a genealogical tree relating all life forms, and coined many terms in biology, including anthropogency, ecology, phylum, phylogency, stem cell, and Protista.  You can tell I'm quite of fan of this vastly talented man!  The size is 13 x 11 and is printed on glossy banner material.  It would make a wonderful companion carryall to the Haeckel Sea Plankton bag.  Upon request, this design can be sized up to 15 x 15.
