• Haeckel's Anemones

This tote is designed from an illustration of sea anemone drawn by Ernst Haeckel. Haeckel, 1834-1919, was a German biologist, naturalist, philosopher, physician, professor, and artist who discovered, described and named thousands of new species, mapped a genealogical tree relating all life forms, and coined many terms in biology, including anthropogency, ecology, phylum, phylogency, stem cell, and Protista.  You can tell I'm quite of fan of this vastly talented man!

The size is 13 x 11 and is printed on banner material.  There is another bag with a Haeckel illustration of sea plankton.  It would make a marvelous companion tote.  It is listed separately.
