• 1895 Parisian Train Wreck

Yes, this is a photo of an actual event in Paris, not a set for a movie.  The photograph is of the Montparnasse derailment when the Grainville-Paris Express overran the buffer stop at the Gare Montparnasse terminus.  The conductor was trying to make up for lost time when the Westinghouse air brakes failed.  Only one person was killed: a woman below on a sidewalk.  Her name was Marie-Augustine Aguillard and she had been standing in for her husband, a newspaper vendor, while he went to collect the evening's papers.

The price is $24.00 and the size is 13x11.  I can make a larger bag if you'd prefer.  Just contact me!
